in wow do u have to pay even if hunter not warlock but hunter have to pay for pet?

don’t want to be warlock i am hunter and they say i can have pet and i want a pet but i can only find ways that cost lots of fold or get steed and that cost a gold mine and lvl 30 so i am on hold for that so i want a pet and i want a pet that does do stuff not just follow me

I’m not sure I understand your question but I’ll do my best.

As a warlock or a hunter, you get a pet (or demon, in warlock’s case) but you don’t pay for them. You either tame one in the wild (hunter) or defeat one in battle and win allegiance (warlock). Both do not cost any money and both will fight alongside you, they’re not vanity pets. You have to pay to train them, as you pay money to train yourself.

The steed and riding training you buy at level 30 that costs gold is your mount. It’s not a pet for fighting or looking cute, it’s a mode of transportation. It’s something you definitely want to look into buying as I’m sure you’ll appreciate getting around Azeroth faster.

By the way, I’m not sure if this has changed as it has been almost a year since I did this for my warlock, but warlock mounts (and riding training) are free. You complete a quest chain to obtain your steed.

Hope that answered your question.
