World of Warcraft, should I quit for good?
So I used to be addicted to Wow… I would play all day after class, never hang out with friends, never do my school work… that only lasted a couple months. I’ve had the game for 15 months now, and I got over my addiction and have played casually for the past 6 months, only playing on weekends. This week I suddenly started really enjoying it again and playing hardcore, and yesterday I forced myself off.
Should I completely quit, cancel my account, and don’t play at all? This game makes me happy when I’m bored and gives me something to do in my free time, but I am afraid of slipping back into playing too much and affecting my school work. Should I continue casually or just stop for good? I have made a few cool online buddies playing it but I talk to them on AIM so that is not something I would miss, I am just afraid I waste my free time doing other stuff like browing Yahoo! Answers!
Yes, quit! I played seriously for a few years. I quit about 4 or 5 months ago. Soon you won’t even miss it! I didn’t cancel my account though. Just in case I ever wanna play again.
