World of warcraft Warlocks die to easily?
Is it just me or do warlocks die to easily?
I have pretty good armor the best spells for a level 18 and i upgraded my imp and Void attacks. Yet whenever im faceing like a level 16 warrior they always come up in my face and theres not to much i can do to get them away besides fear which doesn’t work half the time and is annoying. Is there any other way to get them away any warlocks got any tips for me?
also any orders of attacks anyone want to throw out like use dots first and stuff would be great
In PvP combat, your pets aren’t going to be a whole lot of help, especially against a warrior. The biggest help will be the imp, for the added life (Blood Pact) and the slight DPS improvement (firebolt).
As a warlock of any level, fear is your friend. It’s the great equalizer. Learn to use it effectively and it will win battles for you. Against a human player, especially if they PvP regularly, there are lots of ways to break out of Fear, and if I remember correctly, at L18 a ‘lock only has one Fear effect (maybe 2)?
If you get the drop on the warrior, open up with your longest casting DOT (probably immolate or corruption). Follow with all of your instant cast DOTs, then pop Fear. Wand, Shadowbolt and renew DOTs as needed.
If the warrior gets the drop on you, pop Fear ASAP. Follow with your instant cast DOTs, then the longer casting DOTs. Be sure to stay in range, so run/follow them as they take off while you’re throwing up the instants. Wand/Shadowbolt/Renew DOTs as needed.
You certainly won’t win all the time, but that should keep you on the plus side of things. Keep in mind that for all the warrior’s armor, it doesn’t do a single thing to reduce damage from your spells.
