world of warcraft ventrilo problems
I just installed ventrilo for World of Warcraft and I cant talk in game, how do I fix this ?
I can hear the people talking and talk back to people when im not playing the game, everything works totally fine. But as soon as i open world of warcraft i cant talk to people, i can still hear people talking just fine, but they cant hear me. If anyone had this problem that could offer some help thatd be really great. Thanks!!!
On Windows Vista computers, the User Account Control is probably in the way.
A simple way to solve your problem is:
1. Right-click on a shortcut to or the Ventrilo.exe file
2. Left-Click ‘Properties’
3. Go to/ left-click the ‘Compatibility’ tab
4. Check the check box next to ‘Run this program as an administrator’
5. Click ‘OK’
If Ventrilo is already running, you will have to close it and open it again for this to work. Otherwise, open Ventrilo and other players talking with you should be able to hear you when you have World of Warcraft open along with any other program.
