World of Warcraft FPS Drops?
I’ve seen this question arise before, But never found a solution. First of all, My computer is a beast. It can handle anything. 4 gigs of ram, 3.0 Dual core 6000+, 800W PSU, And an 8800 GTS 512MB Nvidia card. Updated Drivers. I’m on Windows Vista 32bit, But it’s happening on my roommates Windows XP with nearly the same specs. I’ve disabled Addons, Reinstalled Wow, Changed Video quality to low. I’m always getting a constant 60 FPS, But it drops down to 2 FPS for 3 seconds about 9-11 times a minute. Anybody have a solution that helped them? (Also have updated Video Driver, And CPU is running at a very low temp.)
I hope you’re aware a 8800 GTS 512MB is the third best gamers card available in the world. Nice try, though.
It’s a possible Connection problem if your on a Router, I’ve had the same issue, I’m going to post a code that won’t do any Harm on your computer.
1. Click Start
2. Go to Command
3. Right click Command and run as admin
4. Type in “netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled”
5. Press Enter Enjoy.
It’s a Vista, and a XP Lagg Fix.
Hope this helps.
