world of warcraft talents guide warrior

I’m new to World of Warcraft, I need help with starting a class.?

I’ve played Wow before, but I’m still a new player by all means.
I want to start a gnome warrior class, and I would also like to use this class to Tank.
I need some specific advice on which talent tree to invest my points in and which abilities to get to ensure that my character won’t fail at tanking.
Any suggestions, guides, advice, pictures, etc. will be useful. (:

basically any tanking class sucks for the first 20 levels or more, until they get threat abilities. as a warrior you can tank in a tree other than the protection tree provided you use your threat generating abilities. however until your warrior has Shield Slam at level 40, leveling Protection will definitely be slower than Arms or Fury…
the only class i did tanking on early was my druid and only because there were no tanks anywhere ever.

oh and you will fail at tanking. because tanking is a pita and every tank fails at some point. if the group wipes it’s your fault even if the healer was out having a pee break without telling you and then you pulled…or the threat hungry mage can’t be bothered to stop PULLING…sigh. tanking is tough. you learn as you go. no worries.
good luck!
and why a gnome warrior? that’s almost as bad as an undead warrior…just shorter.
see you in azeroth :)
