I just bought world of warcraft and how many patch downloads do i have to go through?
so far i have gone through 4 and this one is: “Wow-2.2.0 -enUSpatchexe…” i have my fire wall enabled so will that cuase it to slow down a bit? and another question. when i die in WoW, do i lose all my items?
If you have installed both WoW and TBC you should be up to version 2.0
One patch 2.0-2.1
2.1-2.2
2.2-2.2.3
So you are looking at one more patch to get to version 2.2.3. Yes you firewall will woefully slow down your download rate, might want to disable it while you are updating WoW.
No you do not lose your items when you die, your equipment does however lose 10% of it durability, unless you kill yourself or another player kills you.
