Gaming Laptop?
Ok so I’m getting a laptop. I plan on using it mainly for MMORPG games such as Lord of the Rings Online and World of Warcraft. I also plan on using everyday applications such as photoshop, windows movie maker, internet and such.
I decided I like the Dell XPS 1530. I found a good setup for under $2000.
I would like to know if these are going to be ok for what I want to do……
Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor T9300 (2.5GHz/800Mhz FSB, 6MB Cache)
256MB NVIDIA® GeForce® 8600M GT
200GB 7200rpm SATA Hard Drive
I know I will be getting 4g of RAM so that’s not a problem. Also, is going from 2.5GHz to 2.6GHz worth an extra $275 (I don’t really think it is)? I just don’t want too much lag or any at all.
Great specs, and paying the extra 275 isnt worth it at all -the T9300 will be more than enough for gaming speed. Heres a coupon code for $350 if you can use it. http://www.notebookreview.com/dellCoupon.asp
Hey just looking on the US site: Did Dell used to have X7800 in place of T9500? cause I thought you were refering to US prices but theres no T9500 on the page i looked. And if youd think about getting X7800, its sapposed to be even weaker than T9300.
