Does the recovery disc set that came with my computer restore driver software( particularily the graphics card?
here’s the situation. I tried to install world of warcraft and everything was going smoothely until i tried to install wrath of the lich king. Near the end of the install a message came up and said ” no driver found in ati radeon 4530 graphics card”. I tried to reinstall windows 7 professional from the partition. that did not solve the problem. the message reappeared. so i am thinking of a clean install using the recovery discs that i got when i bought the computer. i just need to know if this will fix the problem. if not i will be wasting my time. I think the poblem occured because i was using blizzard downloader to install updates
Generally yes the recovery CD’s have the driver for your video card. or you can just got to Ati’s site and download the laster driver for your computer and install it. it would be easier. In some cases you can just put in the recovery disk labeled Drivers and search for it there with out doing a clean new install. w/e works for you.
