Would a wireless card from Verizon or another company work with Wow/World of Warcraft?
I am in the military and on TDY in Florida. I am without a good internet to play WoW whenever I want, and was wondering if anyone has tried the game with a USB wireless card. So my questions are:
1) What companies other than Verizon provide the service?
2) I have an Apple iPhone, can I tether it legally with AT&T?
3) What are the limits to use the card? I know I am limited to monthly downloads, such as 5-10GB. Is that much when playing WoW?
4) Continuation of 3, how much data is transfered when playing WoW so I know how much is used on an hourly basis?

1. yes there are other providers. one is at&t : http://www.wireless.att.com/businesscenter/solutions/wireless-laptop/
2. not sure what your question is. yes, you can use an iphone with at&t. i was under the impression that at&t was the only service you could get with one
3. bandwidth limits depend on the service plan (not the card, although some claim to be faster everywhere). 5-10 GB is a very large amount of data. unless you are constantly downloading songs and images, i don’t think that you would hit that
4. never played WoW personally, but i would imagine that you could stay within a reasonable bandwidth. easily below .5GB/hr, anyway
