World of Warcraft : Wow – Please Help! My Mods aren’t working…?
I installed a few Mods and they aren’t working. I installed them, unzipped them into World of Warcraft/Interface/Addons/ , and went on the game and didnt see ADDONS on the Character Selection Screen. One of my mods are 1151310358TrackBar2.0 and it says to type /tbar to open but it doesn’t…neither does my other 2 Mods work… I have no idea on what else to do…Can someone please help me! 
P.S. I’m looking for a Mod that gives you the information about each item (deatailed info like: how much it sells for to vendors, and things like that) but i cant find one…or any other Mods that work…and i made sure these Mods are compatible with Burning Crusade too…
Addons are usually pretty easy to figure out for WoW once you figure out the trick to them.
99% of the time, when you download an addon it will be in a .zip or a .rar file, and you will need to extract them.
I typically extract the root folder directly to my WoW/Interface/Addons folder.
You need to make sure that you are actually brining the whole folder with, not just the files.
From there, you will need to restart WoW. Close the game, and open it back up. In the bottom left hand corner of the Charector Selection screen, there will be an “Addons” button.
Click that button, and it will be a list of addons. Make sure the addon that you installed is on the list, and that it is enabled. Some times after major patch days, you will need to click on “Enable out of Date addons”
Then go ahead and Enter the world, and you should have your addons available for use.
Make sure you followed my steps, and also make sure that you have out of date addons enabled. It should correct your problem.
