Should I start playing World of Warcraft, if I have nothing better to do?
I just got a $50 dollar Amex gift card. And I have nothing better to do with my time at the moment. I’ve played it in the past, just trial stuff, and I tend to get really into MMORPG’s, but I’m torn. What should I spend it on. I have no serious hobby. I tried sports to no avail. I don’t have a job, nor can I get one until February. And the list goes on and on.
There are some kids who are telling me I should play with them, and that would be great. Because the only friend I really have in my life right now is my girlfriend. But I feel like it’d be a shallow friendship, if they only wanted me to play that game with them, but he’s nice, and he’s friendly about it.
I don’t know what to do. I really want to use it on something I’ll use. 10 Points to a sincere answer =).
Well this depends, this game is a VERY addicting game and can easily steal your life, and your money. If you get really into MMO’s than this could easily strain your relationship between you and your girlfriend. If you end up deciding you want to play I would reccomend setting a limit to play time. If you think this game might a little to addicting than I would suggest another MMO that I play. It is a game called guild wars, less addicting and no monthly fee, just buy the game, however World of Warcraft is the better game. I ended up quiting World of Warcraft, I lost friendships, My grades dropped, I was obsessed and sad. I personally would not reccomend playing this game, however if you decide you want to than just be careful as it is easy to get lost in this “world” for hours upon hours.
