Computer exeperts, my folder has disappeared!?

I play World of Warcraft, and I set the installation to make a folder on the desktop (which it did). For some reason, I’m still able to play the game, and add addons (Through curse client) but the folder itself is gone. I’ve tried running a search, but nothing comes up. Any suggestions?

“…I set the installation to make a folder on the desktop…”
You mean you installed the game on your Desktop?
(Just out of curiosity, why?)

“…but the folder itself is gone…”
Would this be your game folder?

Start Curse.
(I use version 4.0.1.66)
On the left, under “My Games”, you will have “World of Warcraft”.
Right-Click “World of Warcraft”.
Click on “Open Game Folder”.

Or, instead of clicking on “Open Game Folder”, you can also click on “Options”.
That will bring up the “Options” dialog. [Tools --> Options will do the same.]
In the “Select an Existing Game” Drop-Down List, select “World of Warcraft”.
Two fields underneath that, would be a label “Install Path:” with your path to your game.

Using either option, should show you where Wow is installed.
