I’m thinking of converting to Linux from Windows XP?

I’m a newbie, want to play world of warcraft on the computer, and I have a few questions.

1. I am worried about drivers. My computer runs fine except for that I am unable to activate windows so I only have 30 days left. (Long Story). Is there a way I can save my drivers and put them on the linux? If so, how?

2. Can I play most games on linux? Is there some sort of .exe file converter for linux OS’s?

3. What hardships might I face?

4. Are there any other free OS options?

You picked the worst reasons to switch to Linux.

There’s Absolutely No good popular games on the Linux platform to play.

All the games you knew and love, you won’t be able to play them on Linux.

You must get XP validated if you want to play world of warcraft.

There’s no free OS that can let you play Wow.
