In this writer’s opinion and many others who play World of Warcraft (Wow), the druid is the most fun of all the classes to play. At this time, only two races can play the druid, Taurens for the Horde and Night Elves for the Alliance. They have so many different talents and abilities, but they are really known for their amazing ability to shape shift.
Druids can shapeshift
Druids can shape shift into four basic forms:
· cat for dps,
· bear for tanking,
· cheetah for travel form,
· sea lion for underwater.
With expansions, they gained flight form, and epic flight form, moonkin from the balance tree. In addition, tree form from the restoration tree.
Druids can wear leather and cloth armor
A druid can wear both leather and cloth armor.
· A tank druid needs lots of stamina and armor so would the tank druid.
· Dps cat druid needs armor with crit and agility and hit.
· Cloth is usually okay for the healing druid or balance druid.
· Balance druid needs spell power and crit. They also need haste on their armor.
· Healing druid needs lot of spell power and spirit on his armor.
Druids can use six different types of weapons:
· Polearms
· Staffs
· Mace
· Two handed mace
· Dagger
· Fist weapon
Druids cannot dual wield but they can hold objects in the off-hand. One thing though, you choose a weapon a lot of times depending on what form you’re going to be in. Like if you’re in bear or cat you’re going to choose based on its stats, not its damage or procs. In moonkin or tree form, you will have full effect but you will need the stats to land big heals or major spell damage.
Druids need tradeskills as well
Most druids take up skinning, especially feral druids. It’s easy and it adds an increased critical strike rating. It also, of course, compliments leather working. This really provides a really easy nice source of income.
Without question druids really have few if any weaknesses. Perhaps their only one is armor. No question hands down the best class in all of World of Warcraft to play.
