Runescape 99 or World of Warcraft?
I am playing on runescape and world of warcraft but Im thinking about quitting runescape because playing one mmorpg is way enough. So here I am most likely going to play Wow but first here is my question..
On one of my runescape accounts I have 92 hunter (half way to 99) and as people know this is quite a big achievement so I though “why not just go for 99?”
So should I get 99 on runescape (about 20,000 chins or about 62 hours work) or should i just give it up.
Maybe I should play both or just stick with one, if so which one?
Runescape acc: lvl 65, 92 hunter
World of Warcraft acc: lvl 18
Only post if you are not biased to either game and only if you have experience of playing both or just say what you think if you are an experienced gamer.
Hi,
As a past player of runescape and a current player of WoW, I can tell you that WoW is more fun, better gaming features, better graphics, better UI, and more rewarding in the end.
As with most MMORG’s, the game doesn’t really get interesting until cap level. End game content makes up the majority of game content. I currently have a 70 mage, priest, druid, and rogue on WoW as well as several other lower leveled toons on both horde and alliance side. The PvP options are nice, as well as the PvE. I’ve also played LOTR and EQ, and yet I stay on WoW.
I understand that putting that much time into your toon on runescape is quite an accomplishment, but if the game is boring you, you must ask yourself what the reason is for that boredom. ALL mmorg’s are a grind, doesn’t matter if you are leveling or farming or trying to make currency to spend. If it’s the grind that’s boring you, you should probably drop all mmorg’s lol.
WoW, in my own opinion, has the most bang for the buck. Better all around, great support, great product and they update their game on a regular basis. As you now know, if you are playing WoW, there’s now in-game voice chat, no more need for vent or teamspeak.
At the end of it all, if you are asking this question, you have already seen the differences between the 2 games in question, thus you are here asking. Do what you LIKE! I have met a LOT of former runescapers on WoW! : )
Have fun with whatever choice you make, having a high level toon on runescape is one thing, but if you aren’t enjoying it as much as WoW, then switch. It’s going to be difficult to get a straight answer from anyone because in order to get an answer, one would have had to play the games in question. So am I biased? Yes, I am, but it’s because I have walked the path and made an educated decision based on my playstyle and likes and dislikes.
Have a good one and hope this helps somewhat hehehe.
