Would a Netbook be a good choice for a laptop to play World of Warcraft on?
Hey, I’m looking for a new laptop and I found these netbooks, and theres one for internet and gaming. Because they are a lot cheaper than regular laptops. And I need some opinions if it is a good choice for World of Warcraft.?

As an IT professional and Wow player I would most definitely respond to this with a very resounding NO!
Netbooks are primarily designed for people on the go to browse the internet and check their email, use facebook, myspace, twitter, chat, etc. When it says gaming and internet, it could mean anything from gaming (casino) to bigfishgames.com or the online scrabble match at pogo.com
I know that the price tag associated with the netbook is very tempting, however, stick to a laptop that is primarily designed with gamers in mind. The main reason for this is simply the heat released during the execution of these applications.
A very reasonably priced gaming laptop is the Gateway P-7807u FX laptop priced at $1099.99 online. I am using this laptop to play World of Warcraft currently and have been since May of this year. I can honestly say i’m more than impressed. At maximum video settings running in windowed mode I never dip below 50 frames per second. Raiding and pvp are both flawless.
