I have a problem with my boyfriend’s dad.?
Alright, here’s my situation. A few days ago, my boyfriend’s dad gave me small simple gift of a beer bottle opener keychain. I thought it was funny because I’m underage and can’t really drink beer. I kept it and my boyfriend’s brother has recently been helping me with World of Warcraft. So to thank him, I went to his MySpace and left a comment saying “Thanks for the world of warcraft help, and by the way, your dad gave me a beer bottle opener keychain. Haha.” And so from that, my boyfriend’s brother talks to his dad on like a regular basis and brought it up (I have no clue what was said though) but obviously he mentioned it to him. But now my boyfriend’s dad is saying that I’m trash talking him and calling him an acoholic. I don’t know where he got that out of that sentence that I said, but now his dad is really upset with me. My boyfriend wants me to talk to his dad today about it and tell him that it was a misunderstanding. How do I tell his dad? And I really nervous too.
well just tell him things are out of proportion and that you werent implying that at all….and you can show him exactly what you said on the myspace page…that way he can see with his own eyes that you werent trash talking and you can tell him why you thought it was funny (since your underage)
